 However, it is not unusual for us to receive 2-3 requests per day from folks requesting information about all kinds of lamps, including their value, manufacturer, and history. 

Because of the great amount of time involved in researching and responding to all of these requests, there is a $45.00 charge for correspondences regarding this information.

Since there are thousands of lamps and manufacturers, it is almost impossible to tell simply by a written description. Your request must also be accompanied by clear photographs, along with a description which includes dimensions and any identifying markings or signatures, if any.

A written appraisal, on company letterhead stationary, will be provided which includes any available information and price estimates regarding your lamp. This can be used for insurance purposes, estate settlements, or for your own personal knowledge.

If, however, the insurance value of the lamp is deemed less than $100.00 or if we are unable to provide you with sufficient information, your payment will be returned. So you have nothing to lose!
