Chimneys were originally used to prevent the flame of an oil lamp from being snuffed out and are common in all lamps with decorative glass shades. The most important dimension to consider when measuring for a replacement chimney is the base diameter of the burner or holder which is called the fitter.
All chimneys are clear unless otherwise indicated
these hand blown chimneys can be made of very thin glass. Please measure accurately and do not force into a tight fitter.
