 ON-LINE CATALOG Pharmacy or Banker's Desk Lamp Shades  These desk lamps get their name because of their use in business applications, providing very specific directed light downwards in a very small area. The height is adjustable, and the you can swing the head towards or way from you as needed. The style was first introduced in the early 1900's when when electricity was fast becoming widespread in America. Modern versions were prolifically mass-produced in the 1980's and are the most common style found on the market. Most shades for these lamps have holes on each end into which screws attach into a bracket. However, the
shades on this page will not work with Emeralite or Verilite shades, as their lamps
specifically fit into the bracket.
