Swing arm floor lamps of the 1940's - 1970's must have shades with a wide bottom (B) and top (T) measurement, but have a shallow height (H). These shades work well with either a glass diffuser or a harp.

Diffusers Diffusers fit into a center holder forcing light upwards. Swing arm floor lamps usually take 8" diffusers.
